AmenCue

Last updated: July 2, 2026

AmenCue is a mobile application that helps you pause for a short prayer before opening distracting apps through iOS Shortcuts and personal automations. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use AmenCue.

Purchase and subscription data

The only category of information we purposefully involve for payment-related processing is purchase and subscription data handled by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider, in connection with in-app purchases processed by Apple. This may include data such as transaction identifiers, subscription status, product identifiers, and app user identifiers that RevenueCat and Apple use to validate entitlements and manage billing.

We do not operate our own backend to collect, store, or profile your personal data for advertising, marketing lists, or cross-app tracking. How RevenueCat processes data on our behalf is described in RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data stored on your device

Prayer prompts, preferences, progress, and other content you create in AmenCue are stored locally on your device as part of normal app operation. We do not transmit that content to our servers for storage, analytics, or profiling. Removing the app or its data from your device may delete that information from the device; we do not maintain backup copies on our systems.

Offline use, Shortcuts, and permissions

AmenCue is designed to work offline for its core prayer features. If you choose to use iOS Shortcuts, personal automations, or similar system features to open AmenCue before distracting apps, those settings are configured by you on your device and governed by your device settings and Apple's platform behavior. We do not receive your personal Shortcut automation content.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs to track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not require you to create a separate AmenCue account on our servers for core app features.
  • We do not collect your prayer content, prayer history, or spiritual practice notes on our servers.

Children's privacy

AmenCue is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services beyond what Apple and RevenueCat handle as part of standard App Store and subscription flows, which parents and account holders control through Apple.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of AmenCue after changes means you accept the updated policy.
