Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 27, 2026

Locklify is a mobile application that helps you build study habits before opening other apps. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use Locklify.

Purchase and subscription data (RevenueCat)

The only category of information we purposefully involve for analytics or account-style processing related to payments is purchase and subscription data handled by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider, in connection with in-app purchases processed by Apple. This may include data such as transaction identifiers, subscription status, and app user identifiers that RevenueCat and Apple use to validate entitlements and manage billing.

We do not operate our own backend to collect, store, or profile your personal data for advertising, marketing lists, or cross-app tracking. How RevenueCat processes data on our behalf is described in RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data stored on your device

Study-related content you create in Locklify (such as collections, flashcards, quiz items, preferences, and unlock history) is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit that content to our servers for storage or analytics. Removing the app or its data from your device deletes that information from the device; we do not maintain copies on our systems.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs to track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not require you to create a separate Locklify account on our servers for core app features.

Permissions

Locklify may request access to features such as the camera, photo library, notifications, or related system capabilities only to provide in-app functionality you choose to use (for example, challenges or reminders). Those interactions are governed by your device settings and are not used by us to build advertising profiles.

Children's privacy

Locklify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services beyond what Apple and RevenueCat handle as part of standard app store and subscription flows, which parents and account holders control through Apple.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Locklify after changes means you accept the updated policy.
