AmenCue

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Agreement

By downloading or using AmenCue ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Throughout these Terms, "we" and "us" refer to the party that makes the App available to you.

Description of the service

AmenCue is a mobile application that helps you pause for a short prayer before opening distracting apps. The App may work with iOS Shortcuts or personal automations that you configure on your device. AmenCue is a personal spiritual practice and productivity aid, not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, religious, legal, or other professional advice.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid features, if offered, are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Prices, renewal terms, and free trials (if any) are shown in the App and in App Store listings. Your contract for payment is with Apple as applicable; we use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. For Apple's standard terms, see Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) as presented in the App Store.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. We do not process your payment card details on our own servers.

Your responsibilities

  • You use the App only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.
  • You are responsible for configuring Shortcuts, automations, permissions, and device settings safely and lawfully.
  • You do not misuse the App to interfere with others' devices, services, rights, or religious practice.
  • You maintain backups of any content you care about; local data may be lost if you delete the App or lose your device.

Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the AmenCue Privacy Policy at /amencue/privacy. In short, purchase-related data is handled through RevenueCat and Apple; prayer content and app data are stored locally on your device as described there.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, successful automation behavior, or any particular spiritual, personal, or wellbeing outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or inability to use the App, including device configuration issues, Shortcut behavior, or personal outcomes connected to prayer prompts.

Changes

We may modify these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
